CLEP

Classes at SEU:

cost something like $1500
take up an entire semester
are usually boring.

CLEP exams:

cost only $60
take only 2 hours
are usually challenging.

College Algebra:

is a class that I need
isn’t something I’m particularly good at
is a CLEP exam that I passed (miraculously) on Thursday.

hasn’t taken a math course in 6 or so years

At SEU, if you are an upperclassman, you have to attend chapel 35 times in a semester. If you do not meet this minimum amount of attendances, a fine of $25 per chapel service not attended is charged to your student account.
Commuters don’t have to go as long as they turn in excuse forms before [...]

library v.1

Things I know about the library:

wireless internet access is counter-productive to completing assigned readings
the clock on the wall is horribly incorrect
eva is a nice lady, even though everyone calls her the “library nazi”
whispering is optional
returning books on time is tricky since the outside drop-box is locked alot

Effing portables…

School starts tomorrow, leaving me with a mixture of feelings. Caught between life and the Christianbabysittersclub that is SEU, I feel as if classes represent both my past and my future, but are a poor representation of the present.
